Hi! I'm Pilar

I am a multi-disciplinary artist, designer and illustrator, passionate about creating beautiful and ethical products. With a background in Fashion Design from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, complemented by studies at NABA (Milan) and Central Saint Martins (London). I've honed my skills in both design and craftsmanship. My international experience working with renowned brands has equipped me with a deep understanding of the fashion industry's challenges. 

​In recent years, I’ve focused on the social and environmental impacts of the fashion industry, striving to change the way we produce. I chose a path that reflects my ethical principles, emphasizing materials and artisanal processes for responsible production. This led me to establish Studio Artero in 2016, a luxury knitwear brand dedicated to redefining sustainable luxury. ​

The pandemic provided an opportunity for introspection and creative exploration. During this time, I decided to pause production and I rediscovered my love for illustration, with colors and textures dancing in my mind and heart.​ Telling stories with every drawing. I believe we form emotional connections with the ordinary objects in our lives.
