Studio Artero is my personal project focused to craftsmanship. The brand creates luxury knitwear capsules that are committed to best material qualities mixed with the "know-how" of craftsmen. Versatile and timeless pieces that simplify your wardrobe. Natural fibers are good for you and for the environment, they are a sustainable resource.
"Making"
“Shokunin” is a Japanese word for artisan which also implies a pride in one's own work, as shokunin means not only having technical skill, but also implies an attitude and social consciousness, a social obligation to work his best for the general welfare of the people, an obligation both material and spiritual. “Making” etymologically derives from the ancient Greek term “poeien” which means “to create, to compose, to manufacture and to do”. This is the activity in which a poet or an artisan brings something into being that did not exist before, looking for the quality and the product perfection, wishing to reach the peak of his art.
Studio Artero works together with Italian family companies with more than 30 years of experience and with skilled craftspeople who developed made in Italy products with the best materials and excellent finishing. We put emphasis to become "Slow": Slow fashion strives to maintain ecological, social and cultural diversity, keeping traditional methods of garments & textiles making, giving vibrancy and meaning to what we wear and how it's made. Research into quality is a priority, the most important material I have used is a felted wool: 70% merino 30% cashmere, which keeps the body warm, avoiding the weight of a winter garment. As a consumer I try to be better, as a designer I try to make my products with love, without following a trend and with good care they will last for years, to connect my values with my personal & professional life.
